Kim has been practicing yoga for 19 years and meditation for 11 years. She attributes yoga and meditation to helping her heal after being hospitalized for blood clots in the lungs in 2004 and again in 2010 after sustaining a spinal injury from two car accidents. Besides the physical healing she has experienced, Kim believes yoga and meditation have also supported her personal and professional growth by improving her self-awareness, resilience to stress, and connection to self. Her goal is to inspire others to create their own self-care practices.
In 2018, Kim took her first yoga teacher certification class and completed her 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher training in October 2020. She has been leading guided meditation classes since 2010 and completed training as a Guided Imagery Therapist in 2018. Kim also volunteers her services by teaching at a local non-profit yoga studio (Moving Beyond) in Minneapolis, MN. She is planning to complete her 500-hour RYT certification by the end of 2021.
When we shift our energy through the practice of yoga we are able to bring about meaningful changes in our lives.
An RYT credential is earned by yoga teachers whose training and teaching experience meet Yoga Alliance Standards.
When we improve our self awareness through meditation we are better equipped to transform ourselves.
